Volunteering is a fantastic way to make a difference, meet new people and get involved in your local community. 

Not sure how to start volunteering? The LSE Volunteer Centre is here to inspire and empower you to volunteer for causes that you are passionate about!

The Volunteer Centre holds an annual Volunteering Fair in October, and also has a variety of events going on throughout the year that you can get involved in, designed to fit your schedule.

  • Compassionate Neighbours at Royal Trinity Hospice

    Royal Trinity Hospice have their exciting project for students to get involved with now! With the Compassionate Neighbours project you will be visiting someone local to them who is towards end of life and experiencing loneliness, to provide companionship.
    The hospice is looking for new volunteers in Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham and Westminster to visit someone for around 1 hour a week.
  • Accuracy Business Cup (ABC) - Student Buisness Competition 2026
