Meet our speaker and chair

Adair Turner (@AdairTurnerUK) chairs the Energy Transitions Commission. In addition, he is chairman of insurance group Chubb Europe as well as of Oaknorth Bank (a UK start-up lending money to small and medium companies); he is a board member of battery production company AESC Japan; and advisor to Watershed Technologies Inc. since 2023.

Nicholas Stern is IG Patel Chair of Economics and Government and the inaugural Chair of the Global School of Sustainability at LSE. His latest book is A Growth Story for the 21st Century: building sustainable, resilient and equitable development.
