Joanna's research interests focus on a broad range of social policy related issues, including long-term care and prevention, health and social care coordination, migration, gender and fertility.
Joanna has been involved in a number of projects including evaluating prevention effects in adult social care (ASC), evaluating Better Care Fund, systematic review on disability trends in Europe, and testing new eligibility criteria for ASC. She is also a coordinator of the European network on long-term care quality, cost-effectiveness and dependency prevention, which promotes international exchange of evidence on LTC among researchers, policy-makers and other stakeholders.
