Lucas Chancel is an economist, specialized in inequality and in environmental policy. His work focuses on the measurement of economic inequality, its interactions with sustainable development and on the implementation of social and ecological policies. Lucas is Co-Director of the World Inequality Lab at the Paris Scool of Economics (PSE) and Affiliate Professor at Sciences Po. He is also a an Associate Researcher at PSE and at the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations, as well as Senior Advisor at the European Tax Observatory. He was a Visiting Scholar at the Harvard Kennedy School.
