Dr Rupert Burridge is the Conventions Manager at the UKRI GCRF Gender, Justice and Security Hub, Centre for Women, Peace and Security. He is responsible for delivering a five year programme of conventions in or close to the following: Afghanistan, Colombia, Iraq, Lebanon, Northern Ireland, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, and Uganda.
Rupert has recently completed a DPhil in International Relations at Oxford where he wrote on ceasefire verification missions. He also holds Masters degrees in International Relations from the LSE and Cambridge. A senior gender advisor, he carries out advisory and training roles for UK Defence and internationally in the field of WPS/gender.
