CANCELLED
Following the precautionary measures the School is taking to support our community in response to COVID-19 (coronavirus), all public events on campus have been cancelled from 23 March. Therefore, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel Advising the Advisers.
Sign up to our mailing list to receive further details and notification when bookings open. We also send regular updates about other events and how we can help your school and your students.
Advising the Advisers is a free one day conference providing teachers and higher education advisers with advice and guidance on how best to support their students throughout the university admissions process.
During the day, advisers have the opportunity to talk to LSE admissions tutors as well as staff from the School's academic departments, Student Marketing & Recruitment and Widening Participation teams to talk about LSE's programmes and admissions procedures.
The following topics will be addressed:
- applying to a competitive university
- admissions policies and processes
- student finance
- life at LSE
- the personal statement
- the teacher's reference
