Layout
Corridor-style with rooms along a corridor. Toilets and showers in this hall are comprised of cubicles, used by both male and female students. Passfield Hall is comprised of three separate buildings: Main Building, Endsleigh and Taviton. Lift access is available in the Main Building up to the second floor only.
Bed sizes
There are a limited number of rooms with long beds at Passfield Hall. If you need a long bed you will be able to select this at the time of booking (subject to availability). For bed sizes, view the Table of bed sizes in halls.
What's included in the rent?
Six dinners and one brunch per week in term-time, Wi-Fi, insurance and utility bills. Also includes common room activities and portable appliance testing. Meals are not served during the Winter and Spring break, but the cost is spread over the full stay. For 2026/27 onwards, 1x wash and 1 x dry for each week of your contract (pre-loaded onto your laundry account).

Cleaning
Communal areas cleaned daily. You are responsible for cleaning your own room.
Planned refurbishment

- Once you have spent your pre-loaded laundry balance, card operated laundry and ironing room - a wash costs £2.80 and a dry £1.40.
- Personal fridge £20 per term, £60 for the whole academic year. If you do wish to bring a small fridge to the hall to keep in your room, you will need to pay these charges.
