High Holborn Residence planned works
Vacant Mezzanine bedrooms refurbishment
From September 2026, refurbishment work will be undertaken to a small number of vacant bedrooms on the mezzanine floor. This is to improve facilities in those rooms for residents with mobility issues. It is envisaged that work will be completed by late April 2027.
LSE will work with the contractor to minimise the impact on residents, however, some disruption is expected. Construction workers will be visible in the hall. Working hours will generally be from 8am to 5pm, Mon-Fri, with noisy working (e.g. drilling etc) only permitted between the hours of 10am and 4pm to reduce the disruption as far as possible.
Redevelopment work at site opposite High Holborn
Please be aware that redevelopment work is currently taking place at the site opposite our building. As a result, intermittent construction noise may occur during the following hours:
Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm
No works are scheduled on weekends.
The project is expected to be completed by December 2028.
