Bio

Dr. Coble joined LSE in Autumn 2025 after completing her PhD in Accounting at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Her research interests include the determinants of financial reporting and disclosure as well as their economic consequences. Her recent work examines the role of accounting information and disclosure in facilitating capital raising and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), especially in markets with high information asymmetry.

Prior to joining academia, Dr. Coble worked at KPMG in both their audit and M&A advisory practices in Washington, D.C. She earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration degree and Master of Accounting degree at The College of William and Mary.

In her spare time, she enjoys petting other people’s dogs, attending West End shows, and running or biking through Hyde Park.
