The Department of Finance is pleased to announce that it, in conjunction with the Department of Accounting, have been ranked number one in the PriceWaterhouseCoopers sponsored Good University Guide 2007 for the second year running.
In the areas of finance and accounting LSE ranked the highest of all UK institutions;
The rankings were based upon the judge of the Department's research quality, entry requirements and also graduate prospects.
Overall LSE was ranked the fourth highest university in the UK, excelling in the social and economics sciences.
