Foundation Cañada Blanch - UV Prize

The new Prize holder has been announced by the Fundación Cañada Blanch and the University of Valencia in Spain

The new Foundation Cañada Blanch - Universitat de València Prize holder is already known. PhD. Candidate Roser Almenar will spend the Autumn term at the Cañada Blanch Centre at the London School of Economics.

During her stay, Roser will have access to all LSE facilities and will engage in discussions with fellow academics. She will be able to attend events, seminars and activities organised at LSE with an special focus on the Department of International Law.

Roser Almenar Rodríguez

Roser Almenar Rodríguez has a LLB in Law in a High performance group by the University of Valencia (UVEG), and a LLM in International Law by the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). She has been an intern at the Cabinet of the State Secretary for the European Union, at the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation. Her research work focuses on topics dealing with Space Law and Policy, the impact of technological advances in the protection of human rights, and general Public International Law. During her stay at the LSE, she will focus on developing her research project on the aftermath of satellite-obtained images on the individuals' right to data protection.
