Professor Wim Van der Stede, Department of Accounting, is this year’s recipient of the 2019 Outstanding International Accounting Educator award of the American Accounting Association. The award recognizes Professor Van der Stede’s contribution to international accounting education through scholarly endeavors in research and teaching through publications, educational innovation, research guidance to students, active involvement in the activities of international professional and academic organizations and serving as an example to others in promoting international accounting education. The award was presented to Professor Van der Stede at the 2019 AAA Annual Meeting in San Francisco on August 12.
