Below you will find our event schedule for Welcome Week which takes place 22-26 September 2025 as well as other useful information to get you started for the academic year! You can find the schedule on this website as well as in your calendar on the Student Hub app. Make sure to download the app before welcome week starts.
We are looking forward to welcoming you as part of the LSE Philosophy community. Welcome Week is always a very exciting time and I can't wait to meet you all in person. Make sure to make the most of your week: get to know your peers, engage with your new teachers, and enjoy your time as a new student of LSE!

Undergraduate Welcome Week Schedule
Introduction to LSE Careers

Meet the LSE Careers team and learn about their service and how they can help you kickstart your career journey.
Consent Ed
1-2.30pm | CBG 2.02 and CBG 1.05 (Centre Building)
The Consent.Ed programme explores issues around sexual consent, providing an opportunity for us to discuss how we can look out for one another and create a positive, respectful consent culture, where everyone feels safe on campus.
This session is mandatory for all students! Please choose either of the rooms for this session.

Grab a free lunch and learn about the LSE MAP Chapter. Minorities And Philosophy (MAP) is an advocacy group for students and academics from a background that has been traditionally underrepresented in philosophy: disabled, ethnic minorities, first generation university students, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, women, or working class. Our vibrant MAP runs a mentorship programme for MAP community members, reading groups, grad school application workshops, social events and more.
