Bob holds an LLB (cum laude) at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and an LLM in European Law (distinction) at LSE. Prior to joining LSE Law as a PhD researcher, he was a doctoral researcher at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy, where he obtained an LLM in Comparative, European and International Laws with the working title ‘The Freedom to Begin Anew: Temporal Nondomination and European Integration’. At the EUI, he was also co-coordinator of the Legal and Political Theory Working Group.
