About me

Linda is an LSE Fellow in Advanced Quantitative Methods at the Department of Methodology. She completed her PhD in Social Data Science at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford.

Linda’s research primarily explores the impact of automated agents on human behavior and network dynamics within the context of online activism. Her work integrates computational social science methods, causal inference, and computer-assisted qualitative research techniques, such as digital ethnography. In addition to her main project, Linda is also involved in side projects that address broader aspects of AI’s societal impact, political communications, the science of science, and social data science methodologies.
Besides research, Linda has extensive teaching experience, having taught a wide range of courses in research design, statistics, programming, and political sociology, where she has shared their expertise in advanced quantitative methods and social data science with students from diverse backgrounds.
