Bio
Thomas Simon has been an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the London School of Economics and Political Science since 2026. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Mannheim and was a visiting researcher at the University of Miami during his doctoral studies.
Thomas’ research focuses on the role of incentives and transparency in organisations. He studies how contracting, reporting, and control systems shape individual behaviour and organisational outcomes across a range of institutional settings, including healthcare, policing, and firms.
