About me

Fatima A. Boujarwah was a Short-term Fellow with the Kuwait Programme in the LSE Middle East Centre.

She is an Assistant Professor of Information Science at Kuwait University, and holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Masters in Computer and information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. 

Fatima’s research is currently centered on health technologies. She is involved in projects that address the usability and accessibility of health related websites, as well as research in the area of telemedicine, to explore ways in which mobile technologies can be developed to support community based maternity health workers.
