About me

I am a Professor of Mathematics at LSE and the MSc Programme Director for the Applicable Mathematics programme. Before coming to LSE, I have held postdoctoral fellowships at Universidade de São Paulo and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My PhD was completed under the supervision of Professor Vojtěch Rödl at Emory University in 2000. My alma mater is the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering (FJFI) at Czech Technical University in Prague.
