A Spark Session run by LSE Digital Skills Lab.

Join us over lunch to hear from LSE’s career consultants and members of the Digital Skills Lab as we discuss the key digital skills needed for work today. Based on research with employers and LSE alumni, this panel session will help you identify which digital skills you might want to develop and ways to highlight your technical know-how at the application stage.

This session will cover key digital skills Excel, Tableau, Python, and Gen AI and explore Careers Resources, and SMART Goal setting.

Please Note: This event is oversubscribed so, it will be on a first-come, first-served basis. If you can no longer attend, we would really appreciate it if you could cancel your ticket as soon as possible so that your place can be offered to someone else who wishes to attend.

Important notes for Spark events:

  • Please arrive on time and ensure your attendance is recorded by an LSE member of staff. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the session starts, your attendance will not be recorded, and you will not receive credit towards your Spark badge. Find out more about the Spark professional skills badge.
  • Do NOT register for the event with your LSE email address - This address will be deactivated when you leave Summer School and may create issues with awarding you your Spark badge.
  • You must attend the full session to receive your Spark professional skills badge.
  • Where available, we will email class materials to students that attend the event.
