This work focuses on how AI is reshaping student thinking and engagement with assessment, informed by her reflective practice as an educator. She is also contributing to the AI in Management Education project.
Nayat plays an active role in the academic and professional development of undergraduate and executive-level postgraduate students through tailored academic mentoring. She supports learners in navigating complex academic transitions and developing analytical and reflective capabilities.

She represents the department on EDI at School level and has served on the School's Access and Participation Plan Steering Group. She has sustained involvement in widening participation through initiatives such as LSE Explore, engaging large cohorts of prospective students to support access to higher education.
Nayat is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has received multiple institutional and departmental awards recognising her excellence in education and academic contributions. Her work has also been supported through the Eden Centre Development Fund and the Education for Sustainability Fund.
Nayat holds an MSc and a PhD in Management Science (Operational Research) from LSE. Her PhD applied mathematical modelling techniques and game theory to cost allocation problems in wireless networks.
