Dr Henry Radice is a Guest Lecturer in the Department of International Development. His research explores the role of ideas of common humanity within humanitarian action, and the place of humanitarianism within international political thought. His work has appeared in journals such as
Review of International Studies,
Journal of Civil Society and
International Politics, and he co-edited
Humanitarianism: A Dictionary of Concepts (Routledge, 2018). He previously held positions on two large LSE-based research programmes, the Conflict Research Programme (CRP) and the Justice and Security Research Programme (JSRP). He has taught in the Department of International Development and the Department of International Relations, as well as on LSE100. He holds a PhD in International Relations from LSE.
