
About
Paula is a fourth year PhD student in the Department of Economics at LSE. She holds an MSc in Quantitative Economics from the University of Munich (LMU) and a BA in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, and previously worked in Monetary Analysis at the European Central Bank and in Financial Stability at the Deutsche Bundesbank. During the PhD, Paula visited Norges Bank and the Bank for International Settlements for research internships.
Her main field of interest is macroeconomics, particularly empirical macroeconomics, monetary and financial economics. She currently works on inflation expectations, commodity shocks, and risk transmission in financial networks.
