About
Dr Ilka Gleibs is Associate Professor of Social and Organisational Psychology at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she also serves as co-director of the MSc in Organisational and Social Psychology and Deputy Editor for the British Journal of Social Psychology.
Originally trained in quantitative methods, Dr Gleibs increasingly integrates mixed methods approaches and interdisciplinary collaborations into her work. She has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles and continues to bridge theoretical insights from social identity research with pressing applied questions in organisational and social contexts.

Research
Dr Gleibs's research explores the dynamics and consequences of social identity across multiple contexts. Current projects examine identity leadership during crises, academia as a workplace with a focus on well-being among early career researchers and women, discrimination in the housing market, and the interplay between multiple social identities. She is also involved in several large-scale, collaborative big-team science initiatives.
