About me

Zach is an LSE Fellow in Quantitative Methods, with research interests broadly situated within political behavior and political economy. His past research has focused on elites and the ways in which they represent and influence voters in Western democracies. Much of his work relies heavily on applied causal inference and computational methods.

Zach earned his PhD in 2023 at the University of Glasgow. His thesis examined the ways in which gender and social class shape legislative behavior and representation quality in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Research Interests

Zach conducts research into US politics, elites, representation and public opinion using predominantly causal inference and computational methods. Zach's publications are available to view via his website.
