Professor Amol Sasane

I was trained as an Electrical Engineer at the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. Subsequently, I received a PhD degree in Mathematics from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, in 2001. I joined LSE in 2004. My research interests lie in Applicable Analysis. In particular, I have studied algebraic-analytic characterization questions in various contexts: mainly several concrete topological rings, and systems of linear partial differential equations.
