LSE Chill

Hosted by LSE Arts

Café 54, New Academic Building

Join us for our first LSE Chill of the Lent term! Come along and enjoy a night of live music with free drinks and snacks while they last.

The line-up will be as follows:

Constantine Qin
Constantine is the President of the LSESU Magic Society. His award-winning act is a perfect combination between his display of skills and comedic acting, which is highly welcomed by any audience. His act is simply graceful and entertaining.

Nuha Bazeer
Slam... poetry. Yelling! Angry! Waving my hands a LOT! Specific point of view on THINGS! Cynthia! Cyn-thi-a! Jesus died for our sin-thi-as!

No promises to better the above, but poems are a great way to express thoughts, show vulnerability, and get people thinking! Postgraduate student who regrets not having enough free time for writing and performing poetry, looking forward to LSE Chill.

Ammaarah Adam
I am a third year student, still trying to figure out if I like cats, and wondering why the mooring costs are so high in London.

Shreya Menon
With roots in contemporary R&B and soul, this singer-songwriters music reaches emotive depths and tells stories anyone can relate to.

Anne-Eléonore Deleersnyder
Anne-Eléonore is a student of the MSc in International Relations at the LSE. She enjoys playing the autoharp, singing, and writing poetry. For LSE Chill, she will perform songs and poems around the themes of LGBTQ+ rights, domestic violence, anxiety, and grief.

Just economics and politics? Think again.  While LSE does not teach arts or music, there is a vibrant cultural side to the School - from weekly free music concerts in the Shaw Library, and an LSE orchestra and choir with their own professional conductors, various film, art and photographic student societies, the annual LSE photo prize competition, the LSE Festival and artist-in-residence projects. For more information please view the LSE Arts website.

From time to time there are changes to event details so we strongly recommend that if you plan to attend this event you check back on this listing on the day of the event.
