Shaw Library, 6th floor, Old Building,

The Zoffany Ensemble are Manon Derome (violin), Hanna Dawson (violin), Catherine Musker (viola), Michael Dussek (piano) and Anthony Pleeth (cello).

The five distinguished professionals of this ensemble play for the first time at LSE the extraordinarily powerful Brahms Piano Quintet, arguably his finest chamber work.  Mahler Piano Quartet in A minor, Brahms Piano Quintet in F minor op.34.

The next lunchtime concert will be on Thursday 23 February performed by Savitri Grier (violin) and Richard Uttley (piano).

LSE’s Spring Concert, which will include performances by the LSE Choir and Orchestra takes place on 21 March in the beautiful surroundings of St Clement Danes. Don’t leave it too late to get your ticket!

Just economics and politics? Think again. While LSE does not teach arts or music, there is a vibrant cultural side to the School - from weekly free music concerts in the Shaw Library, and an LSE orchestra and choir with their own professional conductors, various film, art and photographic student societies, the annual LSE photo prize competition, the LSE Literary Festival and artist-in-residence projects. For more information please view the LSE Arts website.
