This Royal London walking tour is the perfect way to acquaint yourself with the British monarchy, delving into the evolving roles of kings and queens throughout history. Visit London’s oldest Royal Park, created by Henry VIII for deer hunting, which later became a popular duelling ground and home to James I’s menagerie and mulberry garden.

As you wander through the historic courtyards of St. James’s Palace, you’ll hear fascinating stories of events that have shaped English history. Continue to Clarence House, currently inhabited by the Prince of Wales and formerly the residence of Queen Elizabeth II, before marvelling at the grandeur of Lancaster House, built in 1825 for the ‘grand old’ Duke of York and now managed by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.

Conclude your tour at the iconic Buckingham Palace, where the guide will regale you with tales of the monarch’s official London residence, its rich history, and the vibrant lives that unfold within its walls.
