SPARK: Power BI Blitz: From Data to Dashboard (S1)

 

Join us for this intensive course spanning two half-days, designed to fast-track your data visualisation skills with Power BI – the top-ranked analytics and business intelligence app for eight years in a row. Whether you are new to Power BI or looking to sharpen your skills, this practical boot camp will guide you through essential techniques for turning raw data into compelling insights.

Day 1: Saturday 27th June 
Day 2: Saturday 4th July

Through hands-on exercises and guidance, you will learn how to:

• Import, clean, and shape data from various sources
• Build effective data models using relationships and hierarchies
• Design engaging, interactive dashboards with powerful visuals and time based-analysis
• Apply filters, slicers and cross-highlighting for dynamic exploration
• Use DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to create calculated columns and measures

You will work in groups to find solutions to real-world scenarios, using built-in Power BI tools and your own critical thinking skills. By the end of the day, you will leave with a solid foundation in Power BI and the confidence to explore more advanced capabilities on your own.

• This course takes place over two Saturdays from 10am to 3pm each day, you MUST attend both days to complete the course.
