All students must meet one of the following requirements:

Trinity ISE (revised test)

Level III overall with distinction in all components

Students who do not meet the requirements above, but who have a CET score of 470 or more, may be admitted if they also attend a one week LSE Preparatory English course immediately prior to taking their chosen Summer School course

Bellerbys Academic English Skills (AES)
|
A minimum score of 70%

We are aware that in many places, university education is taught fully or partially in English as standard. You can apply as a native speaker if you have studied at a University in one of the following:
If you have studied in an English-speaking institution, or have courses taught at your university in English (excluding English language courses), in a location not listed above, you may still meet our requirements without having to supply one of the above certificates. Please provide evidence on a transcript or letter from your university that explicitly states the courses taught in English.

Applicants who wish to refresh their language skills may be interested to note that the LSE Language Centre offers intensive one-week English language courses prior to each Summer School session.
