How you learn

Leading Risk in Organisations is delivered by leading LSE faculty from the disciplines of organisational behaviour, accounting, management and sociology. You leverage all of these different perspectives to build a complex, multifaceted and multidimensional understanding and approach to leading risk in your own organisation. The programme is a highly interactive, hands-on and experiential week that integrates theory with case work and real-world application, as you are given the opportunity to explore risk management in your company – and to build a tailored action plan for future development with expert input and advice from faculty.

Who attends?

This programme is designed for professionals who have some experience of managing risk or experience of working within a role where risk is inherent. Participants include:

  • Managers and senior managers with responsibility for risk management.
  • Participants working in organisations where risk management is a core activity.
  • Participants from public or private sector organisations, including those who do not have a specific risk management function, yet there are elements of risk in their role sand organisations.
  • Entrepreneurs who need to manage the risks associated with establishing and growing their business.
  • C-suite participants seeking to develop their understanding of risk and organisational risk management processes.

Fees and entry requirements

Tuition fee: £6,950 

This covers all tuition, course materials, daily lunches and networking events. You will receive an LSE certificate of completion at the end of the course.

Entry requirements

All LSE executive education participants are required to have:

  • Fluency in English, proficiency level or working knowledge of the language is essential.
  • A good undergraduate degree or significant work experience in a relevant role(s).
  • Minimum five years’ professional experience. Typically our participants have more than ten years’ work experience, but we will consider those with less experience who have enjoyed an accelerated career path to a senior level.
  • Participants should have some experience of managing risk or experience of working within a role where risk is inherent (e.g. setting up a business).
