Overview

How is climate change poised to impact your organisation?

Climate change is not only one of the defining challenges of the 21st century, but also a test of strategic agility in an uncertain world. Leaders across all sectors must learn how to make sound decisions under deep scientific, economic and political uncertainty, where robust rather than optimal choices often matter most. Gain a clear grasp of climate science, economics, and policy, and turn insight into decisive strategy.

This course equips you with the frameworks to assess climate risks, identify opportunities, and build resilient strategies for a fast-changing global landscape. Through interdisciplinary learning and real-world case studies, you’ll develop the confidence to lead your organisation through the complexities of climate transition.

Impact

A profound and transformational learning experience for you. Immediate and actionable insights for your organisation.

How you learn

Climate Change: Economics, Policy and Strategy in an Age of Uncertainty is an intensive five-day programme at LSE’s London campus where you’ll join a small, diverse cohort of senior leaders from across sectors and geographies.

Your learning blends science, economics, law, and policy to give you a full picture of the climate challenge. You’ll explore how global climate goals are set, how carbon markets operate, and how organisations can adapt and compete in a low-carbon economy.

Learning is led by LSE faculty and guest experts, and brought to life through case studies, debates, and hands-on exercises such as simulations and scenario analysis. The result is a practical, applied experience that connects rigorous insight with real-world strategy.
