Sunset cruise on the River Thames
Our sunset cruise down the River Thames is a firm favourite amongst Summer School students
Every year, we invite students on a riverboat cruise along the Thames, where you can get to know each other in a more informal environment. Celebrate your time at Summer School and party with new friends while the beautiful London skyline lights up in the background as the sun sets. You will also witness the rare opening of Tower Bridge as we sail beneath this iconic London landmark!
This is a paid, ticketed event with limited capacity.
If I could recommend one thing to do here, I would definitely suggest to go to the boat party. It is such a fantastic experience and something that has to be done once in your lifetime!
My biggest tip would be not to vegetate in your room but to go out, meet as many people as you can. Don't be shy, take everything that the city has to offer you and really make the most out of your time here. You're spending your summer in one of the most amazing cities in the world!
The Sunset Cruise was amazing. I went on my own expecting to just enjoy the views but everyone was so friendly I made new friends and we had a great time. The event is organised in a way that you simply can't have a bad time!
