This course is compulsory on the MSc in Local Economic Development. This course is not available as an outside option to students on other programmes. This course uses controlled access as part of the course selection process. The dissertation may be on any topic within the field of the MSc programme studied. Approval for the topic must be obtained from the relevant Programme Director.

4.5 hours of lectures in the Autumn Term.

This course has a reading week in Week 6 of Autumn and Winter Term.

In the Department of Geography and Environment, teaching will be delivered through a combination of classes/seminars, pre-recorded lectures, live online lectures and other supplementary interactive live activities.

Dissertation (100%, 10000 words).

Part of the dissertation mark will reflect the engagement with the supervisory process, details and criteria of which are shared with students during the course of the dissertation course.
