Availability

This course is compulsory on the MPhil/PhD in Psychological and Behavioural Science. This course is not available as an outside option to students on other programmes.

This course is available to academic staff and research students only.

Course content

Weekly seminars during which PhD students present their work, and explore research skills (e.g. writing, grant preparation). The course runs through Autumn Term, Winter Term and Spring Term. 

Teaching

20 hours of seminars in the Winter Term.
20 hours of seminars in the Autumn Term.
14 hours of seminars in the Spring Term.

This course has a reading week in Week 6 of Autumn and Winter Term.

Assessment

Non-examinable.
