Availability
This course is compulsory on the MSc in Management (1 Year Programme) and MSc in Management and Strategy. This course is not available as an outside option to students on other programmes.
Course content
The objective of this course is to provide students with a critical appreciation of economics and game theory relevant for strategic management. This course will help students to understand how managers in the real world ought to read situations from an economic and strategic angle. The course emphasises the participation of firms in global markets, both for inputs of production as for output sales. Attention will be given to conceptual underpinnings.
Teaching
30 hours of seminars in the Autumn Term.
This course has a reading week in Week 6 of Autumn Term.

Formative assessment
Students will be given formative feedback on group work undertaken during the weekly seminars.
