Availability

This course is compulsory on the Global MSc in Management and Global MSc in Management (MBA Exchange). This course is available on the Global MSc in Management (CEMS MIM). This course is not available as an outside option to students on other programmes.

Course content

A graduate-level introduction to the foundations of managerial economics. Topics include:

  1. Basics of demand and supply
  2. Choice under uncertainty.
  3. The theory of the firm and organizations.
  4. Strategic interaction and dynamic competition.

Teaching

2 hours of seminars in the Spring Term.
30 hours of seminars in the Winter Term.

This course has a reading week in Week 6 of Winter Term.

Formative assessment

Sample exercises will be provided throughout the Winter Term and will be discussed during the class sessions. These sample exercises do not count for your mark in the course.
