Additional requisites:

For students from the departments of Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics and Statistics who are interested in learning more about academic writing to assist with coursework, dissertations and exams.

Course content

This course supports students in developing the academic English writing skills necessary for producing a well-structured and coherent dissertation. It focuses on the conventions of academic discourse, argumentation, critical analysis, and the effective use of academic language.

Teaching

4 hours of classes in the Winter Term.

This is a 4-week course. Students can choose classes which run EITHER Weeks 2 - 4 Winter Term OR Weeks 6 -10 Winter Term.
