Course content

This course is designed to enhance students’ oral communication skills with a focus on effective participation in academic seminars. Through a variety of interactive, seminar-style activities, students will practice articulating ideas clearly, engaging in structured discussions, and responding thoughtfully to diverse viewpoints. Emphasis will be placed on developing persuasive argumentation, critical thinking, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to academic dialogue in a collaborative setting.

Teaching

This course will be offered at four different times during the academic year namely: AT Wks 2-5; AT Wks 7-10; WT Wks 2-5; WT Wks 7-10.
