Course content

This course develops students’ ability to construct and deliver effective arguments in both written and spoken academic contexts. Emphasizing clarity, coherence, and stylistic control, the course guides students in analyzing a range of academic and professional texts to enhance their discourse management, language accuracy, and lexical and grammatical range so that students can communicate complex ideas persuasively and appropriately.

Teaching

This is a 4-week course consisting of four 1-hour classes. The course will be offered at different times during the academic year namely: AT Wks 2-5; AT Wks 7-10; WT Wks 2-5 and WT Wks 7-10.
