Course content
This course will look at the regulation of the market for corporate control in the United Kingdom and the United States. The course focuses in particular on the regulation of the bid process and takeover defence regulation in the UK and the US. For a full topic and reading list, see the Moodle web site.
Teaching
2 hours of seminars in the Spring Term.
20 hours of seminars in the Autumn Term.
This course has a reading week in Week 6 of Autumn Term.
Formative assessment
1,500 word essay.

Assessment
Written test (100%)
This assessment will be held under exam conditions and will take place in the January exam period.
