Dissertation - MSc Local Economic Development and MSc Innovation Policy

Availability

This course is compulsory on the MSc in Innovation Policy and MSc in Local Economic Development. This course is available on the MSc in Urban Policy (LSE and Sciences Po). This course is not available as an outside option to students on other programmes. This course uses controlled access as part of the course selection process.

Course content

The dissertation may be on any topic within the field of the MSc programme studied. Approval for the topic must be obtained from the relevant Programme Director.

Teaching

14 hours of lectures in the Autumn Term.
10 hours of lectures in the Winter Term.

This course has a reading week in Week 6 of Autumn and Winter Term.

In the Department of Geography and Environment, teaching will be delivered through a combination of classes/seminars, pre-recorded lectures, live online lectures and other supplementary interactive live activities.

Continuous assessment (15%)

Dissertation (85%, 10000 words)
