This course is available on the MSc in Economics and MSc in Economics (2 Year Programme). This course is not available as an outside option to students on other programmes. This course uses controlled access as part of the course selection process.

The deadline to apply for this course is Tuesday 30 September 2025 at 12:00 (noon) UK time. You will be notified whether you have been offered a place by 12:00 (noon) on Friday 3 October 2025.

All students on a programme listed under the Course Availability will be given a place. This course is closed to outside students and does not permit auditing students.

Assessment

Continuous assessment (10%)

Project (90%, 6000 words)

The submission is a 6,000 word structured empirical project (90%), on a topic within the guidelines set out in the course. The submission deadline for the project is in Spring Term, with a deadline to be set by the Department.
