Availability

This course is compulsory on the Executive MSc in Behavioural Science. This course is not available as an outside option.

Course content

The aim of the dissertation is for students to pursue an independent piece of research within the field of behavioural science. The dissertation can consist of : an empirical analysis of existing data; a collection and analysis of new data; a randomised controlled experiment (lab, field, online); a systematic review of the literature. Students must obtain the approval of their supervisor before embarking on any research. 

Teaching

3 hours of classes in the WT.

Formative coursework

Students will be required to agree their dissertation topic with a faculty supervisor and to provide a topic proposal which they will receive feedback on.

Indicative reading

Relevant reading will be provided by supervisors.

Assessment

Dissertation (100%, 10000 words) in the AT.
