LSE LIFE

LSE LIFE is the place to develop the skills you’ll need to reach your goals at LSE–whether it concerns your academic work or other personal or professional pursuits. We are open year-round to help you find your own ways to study and learn, think about where your studies might lead you, and make the most of your time at LSE.

LSE LIFE offers talks and practical workshops to build experience and confidence in areas including academic reading and writing, communication and presentation skills, critical thinking, building relationships with others, planning and conducting research, and time management. You can also consult workshop materials and additional activities online.

You can get personalised, one-to-one advice about any of these areas or other questions related to your experience at LSE. Research specialists from the Library, career advisers from LSE Careers, and other partners from around the School are also available for one-to-one appointments.

Our talks, workshops, and appointments are optional and available to all undergraduate and taught master’s students, free of charge, throughout the academic year and over the summer. When meeting in person is not available, these workshops and appointments are held online.

LSE LIFE, located on the ground floor of the library, also provides bright and open study space for students to meet and work together collaboratively. See also:
