Argumentation and Style

Pre-requisites

This course is for students who speak English as a foreign language.

Course content

This course will focus on argumentation and style in written and oral communication.  Students will analyse written and oral texts to improve their discourse management, language accuracy and language range.

Teaching

This is a 5-week course and each session will last 60-minutes. The course will be offered at four different times during the academic year namely: MT Wks 1-5; MT Wks 7-11; LT Wks 1-5 and LT Wks 7-11.
