PhD Seminar in Finance

This information is for the 2021/22 session.

Availability

This course is compulsory on the MRes/PhD in Finance. This course is not available as an outside option.

Course content

This is a seminar course for PhD students in the early stages of their research to present their work in progress. Outside speakers may also be invited from time to time.

Teaching

10 hours of seminars in the MT. 10 hours of seminars in the LT. 6 hours of seminars in the ST.

Other meetings to be arranged as necessary.

Assessment

Essay (100%, 10000 words) in August.

A 10,000 word essay on a topic to be agreed with the student's supervisor. This essay is to be submitted by the end of August.
