Availability

This course is compulsory on the MSc in EU Politics and MSc in EU Politics (LSE and Sciences Po). This course is available with permission as an outside option to students on other programmes where regulations permit.

Course content

The purpose of this course is to acquaint students with general academic skills, to prepare them for the development of a research design and to introduce a range of research methods.

Teaching

4 hours of lectures and 3 hours of workshops in the MT. 4 hours of lectures and 3 hours of workshops in the LT.

A total of 4 hours of lectures in both MT and LT. Two 1.5 hour workshops in Reading week 6 of MT and LT.
