Pre-requisites

For undergraduate students from Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics and Economics for whom English is not a first language. 

Course content

The course aims to develop the ability to speak, read and listen more effectively for academic purposes and to develop the ability to write more effectively for academic purposes. By the end of this course, students will have: (a) explored and clarified style in academic discourse and (b) developed their own written and spoken fluency, accuracy and style.
