Dissertation: Executive Global MSc Management

This course is compulsory on the Executive Global MSc Management. This course is not available as an outside option.

Course content

Dissertations will be based on a project which will be undertaken throughout the second year of the degree. This will include conducting industry and company analysis before writing a final report based on issues and opportunities within a business ideally the students own company.

Teaching

10 hours of seminars in the MT. 10 hours of seminars in the LT.

Students are required to participate in 20 hours of scheduled seminar sessions which will relate to dissertation topics and will lead to their own individual dissertation project. They will be allocated a faculty advisor who will support and guide them through the full project including virtual support through the online learning platform.

Formative coursework

Students will be required to agree their dissertation topic with a faculty advisor and provide a 1,500 word dissertation plan which they will receive feedback on.

Indicative reading

Relevant reading will be provided by academic advisors.

Assessment

Dissertation (100%, 6000 words).
